The management of the company is assumed by Karine Puget, CEO and Philippe Bulet, R&D anti-infectious peptide consultant.
Karine Puget, Ph.D. , founder, CEO, and CSO.
Karine Puget obtained her PhD in Biology & Chemistry interface from the Faculty of Pharmacy. She worked at Ipsen Beaufour Laboratories (CIFRE convention) before to join the CNRS until 2002. She founded the company in march 2003 with Professor Jean Martinez, a specialist in therapeutic peptides.
Philippe Bulet, Ph.D. He joined Genepep in 2007 as Anti-infectious peptides Consultant. Prior joining the company, he was CSO of a Swiss Biotech company for 4 years. Before this period, he was Scientific Director (CNRS). He co-founded two Biotech companies (Entomed, France; Funzyme Biochnologies, Switzerland) and he has a long time experience in peptide and protein chemistry, and antimicrobial peptides. He has 113 peer-reviewed original research articles and 13 patents on antimicrobial peptides.
